In 2023, Etone College’s Head of Mathematics, Neil Randall, contributed this piece to the EEF blog ‘Using Worked Examples to Promote High-quality Mathematical Talk’.

In Autumn 2023, Matrix’s approach to assessment was shared at the ASCL Data Conferences in both Manchester and London.

Equality & Diversity

Our Director of School Improvement, David Lowbridge-Ellis MBE, has shared Matrix’s approach to Equality and Diversity via numerous blogs, magazines and books. Recently, he contributed his insights into what makes a great English curriculum to a new series of videos published by Pearson.

Workload and Wellbeing

In 2016, Michael Eszrenyi, our SCITT Director, contributed Matrix’s practice to the DfE’s Marking Policy Review Group report.

Since 2015, several of Matrix’s School Improvement Team have worked with the Department for Education on workload reduction, including the various iterations of the Teacher Workload Reduction Toolkit.
