The auditorium at Millennium Point was lined with rows of shiny awards, signalling the arrival of the much-anticipated Matrix Pupil Awards Ceremony. The event recognised academic achievements across all of our schools as well as celebrating the diverse talents and qualities that make each of our pupils unique.

The ceremony was introduced by CEO Lynsey Draycott and Director of School Improvement David Lowbridge-Ellis MBE and starred our dedicated Headteachers who proudly announced the award winners from their schools. Among the accolades were five prestigious titles: Most Creative, Most Resilient, Most Selfless, Continuous Improver, and Most Enthusiastic. These awards honoured the pupils who had exhibited exceptional qualities in their academic journey and beyond.

Amidst the award presentations, the audience was treated to mesmerising musical performances by talented pupils who were successful in our trust-wide talent competition, showcasing their musical prowess and bringing an extra layer of enchantment to the evening.

In addition to the main awards, there was further special recognition for our Combined Cadet Force and the winners of a photography competition, whose entries were displayed on the giant screen. We will share more on the photography competition shortly and look forward to displaying all of our entries online. The awards were presented by our Chair of Trustees, Sir Mark Aspinall, who brought the evening to its close with an inspiring and moving speech.

A huge thank you and congratulations to all of our performers, award winners, dedicated staff, trustees, parents and carers.
