At Matrix Academy Trust we run a monthly end to end payroll service using specialised software that is tailored to the unique needs of educational institutions. This innovative software gives employees an online portal allowing them to update their own personal details and view a forecast summary of likely earnings. This forecast allows employees to see future changes such as agreed pay increases, job role changes, ahead of time. The portal also gives them access to downloadable payslips, P60’s and P45s.
Encompassed in the payroll service is;
- Compilation of accurate monthly payroll for all employees
- Processing BACS runs
- HMRC returns
- Processing HMRC notifications and attachment of earning orders
- Monthly pension returns covering Teachers Pension Service and Local Government Pension Schemes (including West Midlands Pension Fund & Warwickshire Pension Fund)
- Outputting monthly costing reports and staffing analysis to the trust.
- Populated journals for finance.
- From point of vacancy to onboarding working with finance so that new vacancies are included within budget so it is as accurate and up to date as possible.
