On the 18th December 2024 our cadets from across the Trust came together at Barr Beacon School for the Non-Commissioned Officers’ Annual Dinner Night. Traditionally this night is all about celebrating and thanking the young leaders within our contingents for their commitment, professionalism and high performance over the past year.
The evening which is seen as a highlight for our JNCO’s was made even more prestigious as we also played host to Sir M Aspinall (Chair of the Board of Governors), Ms L Draycott (CEO), and Mr S Smith (Governor).
At the end of the lavish three-course meal we present awards that our cadets have spent time and effort earning. This year we launched the ‘Young Leader of the Year’ awards for one cadet from each school contingent. The awards this year went to:
- FSgt I Priest – Barr Beacon School.
- Cpl A Baker – Bloxwich Academy.
- Sgt B Dale – Dame Elizabeth Cadbury School.
- LCpl O George – Etone College.
- Cpl E Hands – Wednesfield Academy.
Alas, it was time to wish all a Merry Christmas and safe journeys back to their schools. As another busy period had come to a close, we would like to thank all of our Young Leaders (and parents) for supporting our activities, and continuing to expand their horizons through the cadet Experience.
